Recently, New Orleans Hornets point guard revealed a never-before-seen colorway of the Jordan CP3.IIIthat left some of you wishing it was a general release. However, there’s no time to go after something you probably will never obtain. On the contrary, we have spotted a rare Air Jordan 8 Retro Chris Paul PE that is now available in an auction on eBay.

If you recall, Chris Paul wore this particular Air Jordan 8 Retro PE sparingly throughout the 2006-2007 season, his second in the NBA. However, unlike the Air Jordan 8 Retro Ray Allen PE that rapper Drake wore not too long ago, this pair never released to the public. It predominately black suede base is highlighted by aquatone and university gold hints that coincide nicely with the New Orleans Hornets ‘Away’ jerseys. Paul’s nickname, ‘CP3′ is located on the ankle area in university gold as well. The Air Jordan 8 Retro Chris Paul PE auction’s highest eBay bid is already close to $1000, so expect to spend a grip on this player exclusive.

Lupe Fiasco-Im Beaming Video

This is one of the freshest video I’ve seen in a long time. The mix of low budget effects with the children and moving props and advanced 3d effect is fresh. Usually in music videos its either or.

Lupe’s flow is ridiculous as usual. I’ve noticed its not so much about spitting his ass off anymore, but making sure everything that comes out of his mouth is digestible. His flow has gotten a lot more bounce. He’s always been slick with it, but sometimes his flow just straight barreled down on your head early on in his career making it hard to take in and thus leaving a lot of people with nothing else but to over look him. Sometimes you have to pause to let the content marinate. He’s tweaked the flow according to this problem, if you will, and now his style is virtually perfect in my opinion. Lupe did say he was going to drop 3 albums and retire. It would be sad to see him go just as he’s approaching perfection. Enjoy the video! Love-Life

AIR JORDAN 1 RETRO "FOAMPOSITE" PREVIEW!!!!!!!!

Recently Atlanta based boutique Wish, and sneaker blog TheShoeGame, hosted an event in the ATL called “A Night With Jordan Brand”. The special event featured a preview of Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2010 Collection and a Q&A with Jason Mayden, a designer for Jordan Brand.

When Jason broke out the sneakers the camera phones instantly started snapping pictures. From what we hear there were quite a few items to be talked about but none created quite as much buzz as this Foamposite Air Jordan 1 Retro. The Foamposite material has appeared on a number of models other then those which originated with the material, for example the Big Nike Highs and Nike Blazers released last year. Now it’s Jordan Brand’s turn to give us their own rendition of a foamposite release, on their iconic Air Jordan 1. Black foamposite smothers the entire upper as a subtle hue of blue finds itself added to the Jordan Wings logo and to the translucent outsole.

No official release details are available at this time but as soon as we know more we’ll be sure to keep you posted on whatever follows.

Its Time For People To Start Accepting Graffiti.

This piece was done by a good friend of mine who works at AKIN. he did this for the Eggplant Foamposite release party..and now remember this is removable..after we put it up and a couple of days after the release party, a anonymous lady called in and complained saying that this just gives the thugs and hoodlums to come in and spray paint all over the place...she also said graffiti is not an art and it has no value whatsoever.

When i heard about what happened, i was furious because i feel that its time that this socitey do accept graffiti as an art. im soo tired of the word "taggers,"graffiti etc.." being dragged through the mud.Some forms of graffiti become art according to four criteria. First, graffiti art is separated from everyday graffiti markings by the artist's intention to produce a work of art. Second, graffiti art has an established history of development in style and technique. Third, graffiti art even has been recognized by the art world. A fourth criterion is that the public response to graffiti art indicates that it is art. Whether or not all of the public agrees that graffiti art is good, bad, or extremely valuable is a different discussion about evaluation and not whether or not graffiti art is art. The evaluative concerns actually play more into where, when, and how graffiti art should be displayed.The only obstacle that has hindered the general acceptance of graffiti art is its location and presentation. However, the instances of acceptance of graffiti art by the art world shows that conventional methods of presentation are not all that matters in determining if something is art. And graffiti art is not to be disqualified as art simply because it might appear unsolicited. In short, graffiti in the form of spray can art is art like any other work that might be found in a gallery or a museum.

First Attempt at Pac Weekend.. Fail? Only kinda.

This MLK 3 Day weekend was supposed to be the weekend where the whole clique chilled, and partied. But thanks to Parental Control, a slip of the tongue and the slightest bit of bullshit, it didn't turn out as expected.

Christian, Aaron, Wes and I met up in Hyde Park on Sunday... passing time before the Scholar Party, at Alia Ramirez's crib and Cholies. Shit didn't turn out the way it was supposed to, I'll say that much. Me and Spiff had to leave , while standing RIGHT OUTSIDE of the FUCKING PARTY. Which lead to a fucked up ride to the crib.

Yesterday, Me, David and Adam Mason went back out to Hyde Park to kick it with Alia again.. We rode around, and ended up in 'Stephmoney's crib.. She's tiny, haha. But we chilled in there for like 30 min. And then decided whether or not we'd go downtown. To say the least, I ended up on the 6 with Alia and $4 cash.. why? I have no idea. We had a decent time.

Help The Earthquake Victims.

As you know, there was a terrible earthquake in Haiti yesterday evening. Oxfam has a staff of about 200 people on the ground in Haiti and a team of 15 highly-experienced emergency specialists based in the capital that are responding with public health, water and sanitation services to prevent the spread of waterborne disease.

"The first step in an emergency will be getting clean water to people who need it as we know from experience that shocks like this disrupt water lines, and transportation is completely broken down," said Michael Delaney, director of Oxfam America’s humanitarian response department.
"As we’ve seen time and again, in emergencies the poor are hit the hardest," said Delaney. "Given the severity of this earthquake and the poverty of the country, our response will be long term."
